Artist Talk with Ceramicist Erik Lozano

Ceramicist Erik Ordaz Lozano will be at the WMA-Hundley-Shell Theater on November 5th at 5 p.m. to discuss process, alchemy, and the art of abstraction in his work. His exhibition, “Loco Planetarium: 2039,” is on view in the museum’s window galleries through December 12, 2025. Erik is an Assistant Professor of Art at Stephen F. Austin State University. His work is deeply influenced by his cultural background and interdisciplinary interests, incorporating methods that walk the line between sculpture, craft, and design thinking.
